Use the easy to read black numbers and the quarter inch grip size to cut whole inches. Use the patented turnaround feature by the easy to read white numbers and a half inch grip sides to add the half inch seam allowance. A 45 degree angle line is included.

Heavy duty - they have their limits

These don’t hold a regular shovel, the magnet isn’t strong enough. They do work nice for plastic snow shovels. I use them in a Wick steel building. Nice to not have to drill into the walls. The depth is nice on them.
