Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs! This rug is made of sheep wool over a cotton base. I hope that you can see on the pictures attached how it shows different textures. The main pile is a medium and the pattern is a flatweave, like a kilim. Cream "spots" are also a medium pile. There are better floating shelves

Doesn’t feel very sturdy like other floating shelves I’ve bought, and they slant a little. The anchors and screws that it came with all broke so we had to get our own for it to feel more secure on the wall, but still feels wobbly. Overall, it looks good on the wall after the fact, but won’t be adding too much weight on it.
