Mushroom SculptureFair Trade, Handcrafted in Bali IndonesiaThis whimsical sculpture is hand carved by artisans crafted in a Fair Trade cooperative. Made from the branch of a Chinaberry tree which has been attacked by a parasitic vine. The vine bores into the wood and causes an explosion which must be cut out to save the tree. Local Balinese artists carve this discarded wood using only a knife and chisel. These are hand carved and handmade and no two are exactly alike.

The size is perfect, not too big not too small. I changes the band to make it look a bit less formal. The only thing I don’t like, it makes a weird sound when you move your wrist, sort of like a piece is loose inside.
