Homonna Domaine Furmint + Harslevelu 2018This 50% Furmint, 50% Harslevelu blend makes up the majority of Attila Homonna's dry wine production. The grapes come from 40 80 year old vines from several sites, all with volcanic soils that he farms organically. Furmint lends a backbone of acidity and is responsible for the strict linear structure of the wine, while Harslevelu brings a silky texture with floral and honey aromas on the nose. The vinification is fairly straightforward and simple.
